LOVE IS GREATER THAN DEATH

         LOVE IS GREATER THAN
                  *DEATH*

There's something about the  *No. 7*
They say it is the number of God
The number of perfection

There's something about this number,
*Oluwabunmi omo mi owon*
I know you can hear me, listen my child

*This is the 7th year you left*
*This is also the year I turned 70*
*And your birth year is '77*

It was a mystery, the unspoken words
Like fireflies in the sky, only invisible
Silent, but very loud

This year was different, my birthday, I hear it was glory
They say I smiled, I radiated, that I gleamed
I too didn't understand it, but now as I ponder, it's no longer a wonder

**It was all in allignment, the stars, the time, the numbers
I had a thanksgiving service because this is a hallmark year
*And I have a strong feeling you were there, around me, around us*

And as I begin to realize this the more,
This 7th year, I choose to conquer through and through
This 7th year, for you, I would thank God too

*And so my Precious son, as we remember you today,*
*I want to be intentional, and thank God for 7 things this way:*

I thank God for you my darling son, for the day God blessed you with me

I thank God for who God made you to be: kind, humble, generous and God fearing indeed

*I thank God for the life I had with you; you made me a joyful mother and what a privilege to have spent 36 years with someone like you*

I thank God for my precious grandchildren you gave to us: Iyanuoluwayimika and Morolaoluwa, they are the best gifts one could ever ask for

I thank God for my beloved daughter you brought to us, our darling Oluwayemisi, you should see how blessed we are to have her

I thank God for your legacy, the ones you left in the hearts of those who knew you, loved you, worked with you and honour you. People loved you, everyone sings your praises

Last but not the least in any way, I thank God for the memories, the love that is still alive in my heart and the truth that we will surely meet again, to part no more.

*It's not over, there's another lifetime with you and that time is forever.*

Before I conclude, Oluwabunmi, didn't I say there's something about the no. 7?

*This 7th year, your uncle, Babatunde Akinleye, soared into glory*

I know you are with him now, as I imagine you had picked him up at the arrival terminal in heaven, accompanied by the angels.

Until the day we meet again and more,

I love and will always love you my Precious Child

OLUWABUNMI, you are and will always be, My Forever Child

With all my love,
Your mother,
*Mama Oluwabunmi*
