Dear Bunmi, It was a rude shock to my family and I when we heard that you passed away. I remember the genesis of our friendship from Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Lagos and the cordial relationship we shared till God took your kind soul away. At this point in time, I wish I could ask so many questions but as Christians, we cannot question our Father in heaven. My wife; Ariyike and I were very excited to support you and play a role at your wedding in Dubai as a Groom man and Bridesmaid. Bunmi, We shared so many memories together. We were always at each other's events/ children's birthdays etc. You and Yemisi have always been there to show love, kindness and support to us. I cherish all the times we spent together. You were a special friend with a kind heart and I pray that God grants you eternal rest. I still saw you a few weeks back when you came to Guaranty Trust Bank Plc and we gisted for a little while. If I had known that was going to be my last time of seeing you, Perhaps I would have delayed you a little longer so we could talk more but God knows best. May God comfort your family, May God wipe away their tears and make them smile again because if I can feel this way as a friend, I cannot begin to imagine how they feel but as I said earlier on, who are we to question God.
